What is the eChainReaction Sandbox Community?

The eChainReaction Sandbox Community is a private online business community that gives us a place to demonstrate the eChainReaction Community Platform (ECP) while we explore social networking, social media, collaborative decision making, widgets, and the rest of what some call Web 2.0.

We will use our own community to explore how best to apply these technologies.

Members place profiles of themselves in the Community where we can view each other’s profiles, meet, interact, and collaborate. Comment on the Front Page Blog. Or, go ahead and click on Register. Authorization should be rapid as we receive an RSS feed for all new registrations. Try out your own mini-blog, comment on the mini-blogs of others, participate in a Group, introduce yourself to other members, refer people you know to those you meet, create agendas, and post events.

A simple way to get started is to post a poll on your profile and use the results to write your mini-blog. Research other applications of social networking or community platforms and share your opinion, or resarch how to apply nano-learning to online business communities.

Members can initiate communication utilizing the community messaging center. Relationships form within the community by sharing advice and knowledge, and, by fostering and nurturing robust dialogue and deliberation among members. Agenda tools provide a simple approach to adding in some process, decision making, and a bias for getting work done.
